Learning opportunities and tasks:
- Support divisional supply chain activities, including tracking deliveries of spare parts, fuel, and consumables
- Assist with inventory management for marine equipment, tools, and critical spares
- Coordinate with vendors, and internal operations teams
- Help monitor shipment schedules, lead times, and port turnaround metrics
- Analyze logistics and procurement data to identify cost, efficiency, and reliability improvements
- Maintain supply chain records, reports, and dashboards related to divisional operations
- Assist with documentation related to customs, port regulations, maritime and government compliance
- Participate in continuous improvement projects related to divisional logistics and operations
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field
- Strong interest in the maritime shipping industry
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or maintenance systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
Minimum Requirements:
- Familiarity with maritime logistics, port operations, or vessel maintenance concepts
- Exposure to international shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, Incoterms, customs forms)
- Experience with data visualization or reporting tools
- Prior coursework or experience in transportation, logistics, or operations
Physical Demands:
- Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and other office equipment
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via email
- May occasionally be required to lift or move items up to 10 pounds (such as files or office materials)

Work Environment:
- This position is performed in a traditional office environment, with some local travel between facilities.
