Fairlead is an end-to-end supplier to Defense contractors, providing the initial concept to the fully realized design of shipboard integrated products and systems. An ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certified Veteran Owned Small Business, Fairlead designs and manufactures machinery control systems, power distribution systems, large-scale mechanical structures, and precision fabricated/machined components and subsystems, from prototype to full-rate production. Fairlead also provides comprehensive ship repair and preservation services at our facilities in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.
Fairlead’s products are part of mission critical systems in the U.S. Navy’s Nimitz and Ford-class aircraft carriers, Virginia and Columbia-class submarines, all classes of surface combatants and amphibious ships including Arleigh Burke Class DDGs, San Antonio Class LPDs, LHA-8, the Littoral Combat Ship class, and many classes of support and Auxiliary ships of the Military Sealift Command, the Maritime Administration, and the U.S. Coast Guard.

Paid Time Off (PTO)
The Company provides Paid Time Off (PTO) for employees to use for paid personal time away from work. PTO time may be used for vacation, sick days, personal appointments, and emergencies.
Full-time employees accrue 1.39 hours of PTO per weekly paycheck. After 4 years of full-time employment, PTO will accrue at 2.16 hours per weekly paycheck. After 10 years of full-time employment, PTO will accrue at 2.49 hours per week. PTO hours will stop accruing after 200 hours is reached.
Holidays
While the national average for employer paid holidays is 8 days, Fairlead offers 11 paid holidays off each year, 7 scheduled with an additional 4 floating holidays.
