Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data entry of records and applications
  • Maintain communication with internal customers
  • Assist with implementation of performance appraisals
  • Assist with Talent Acquisition processes
  • Maintain job descriptions while ensuring FLSA exemption requirements are met
  • Coordinate the annual United Way Campaign
  • In the absence of the Manager of HR, performs essential duties and handles urgent matters
  • Coordinate the summer and annual holiday parties
  • Prepare and deliver payroll distribution
  • Interact with and supply information to employees, department heads and job applicants
  • Coordinates annual open enrollment educational meeting
  • Oversee the call-in reporting process and reports updates to supervisors and managers
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports and disseminate to appropriate parties
  • Perform other HR Generalist duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Experience with HR processes and administration
  • BA/BS in Business Administration or a related academic field or 1 year of directly related experience

Work Environment:

  • This position is performed in a traditional office environment, with some local travel between facilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to travel locally to various company sites.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
