Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce critical path, resource loaded schedules in accordance with divisional template for every project.
  • Progress schedules on a weekly basis.
  • Work with the divisional cost analyst to provide data to support earned value metric development.
  • Work with project managers to produce customer schedules, when required.
  • Develop schedules during proposal development, when required.
  • Evaluate schedules in production and forecast planned work two-weeks ahead. Communicate planned work during regularly scheduled meetings.
  • Assess the impact of work not completed, coordinate with project manager to produce a recovery schedule, and analyze whether project milestones and/or delivery are affected.
  • Work with project managers and cost analysts to perform a variety of activities in support of schedule execution.
  • Provide input to senior management for schedule-related issues.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the divisional manning forecast.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Divisional Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives such as Just-Do-It’s (JDI), Rapid Improvement Events (RIE) or CPI Projects.
  • Support Divisional Internal and External Audits.

Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project within 60 days of employment.
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office, Deltek Costpoint experience is preferred.
  • Must have past, defense manufacturing experience.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate leadership, team building, and cross-functional team management skills.
  • Ability to understand key events, milestones, work breakdown structures (WBS).

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or 1-5 years’ experience as a P6 Primavera scheduler

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

  • This position is performed in a traditional office environment, with some local travel between facilities.
